Pyware® Subset Tabs to Indicate Holds
Drill “subset tabs” allow UDBapp to correctly display a performer's crossing counts (xCounts) and step size when a hold follows or precedes a drill move.
For a "move 8, hold 8" transition, instead of creating a single 16-count move where performers only move during the first 8 counts, break it into "two 8s" by adding subset tabs. Add one numbered set tab after the first 8 counts and a second subset tab after the next 8 counts to represent the hold portion.
Example: Moving for 8 counts then holding for 8 counts
Place the set 56 tab 8 counts after Set 55
Add a subset tab 8 counts after set 56, labeled set 56A
This creates a 16-count structure divided into two 8-count segments.
Starting at set 56A represents starting “after the hold” while starting at set 56 represents starting “on the hold.”
