Change the field orientation (perspective)

To access view settings, first tap the "UDB" button, then "Settings"
To access view settings, first tap the "UDB" button, then "Settings"

The field orientation within the drill view screen defaults to the following perspectives based on your role:

Role

Default Perspective

Administrator

Director (from the stands)

Staff

Director (from the stands)

Member

Performer (from the field)

Field orientation can be manually swapped by creating a Custom View or editing the UDB Default view. If you always want to view the drill from a specific perspective, edit the UDB Default view. If you need to alternate between perspectives, create a custom view to make it fast and easy to switch.

Change perspective on UDB Default view

  1. Open the drill file

  2. Tap the UDB button on the Control Wheel

  3. Tap settings

  4. Scroll to Global Settings and tap Views

  5. Tap "UDB Default"

  6. Scroll to Perspective, tap the desired orientation, then tap Done


Change perspective with a Custom View

  1. Open the drill file

  2. Tap the UDB button on the Control Wheel

  3. Tap settings

  4. Scroll to Global Settings and tap Views

  5. Tap Create New View

  6. Name the view after the new perspective, select an icon, and tap Create

  7. Scroll to Perspective, tap the desired orientation, then tap Done

  8. Back on the main drill view screen, select the My View widget in the top right corner and tap the newly created Custom View
